Coping with naughty schoolgirls is no easy task. We have to deal with their rudeness, recalcitrance and general dislike of an authority figure. It’s not enough to wade in with systematic punishment in the belief that is the way to help them see the error of their ways. We have to try to understand their feelings, draw out their issues and use our powers of persuasion to help them, in turn, understand themselves. THEN it’s time for the big hitty stick!!! Perhaps next time, Millie might be a little less “difficult”!!
