‘Twas the night before Christmas,
Snow heading our way;
The presents were wrapped
To be opened next day.
The table was set –
Mulled wine, steeped in spice;
The food prep completed
And Prosecco on ice.
I sipped on white wine,
Cynth partook of a beer,
As we chatted about
The joys of this year.
Those who had sessioned
For pleasure or pain,
Or hired out the play space
And might do so again.
Now Chambers will close
Just for a short while;
But soon we’ll be back
With a welcoming smile.
Whatever your fetish
Or deep-seated quirk;
I hope you will visit –
It keeps me in work!
I’m sending my love
For festive good cheer
Have a magical Christmas
And a happy New Year!
